Ms Tan Li Li, HR Director, Corporate and Hotel Operations, started with Banyan Tree Hotels & Resorts back in Mar 2011 as Corporate HR Director. In Jan 2014, her portfolio expanded to include Office Admin. She holds a BBA from the University of South Australia.

James Loo is a human resource professional who has held HR roles in both the private and public sectors and across different industries. He has notable experience in talent acquisition, talent development, business process re-engineering and formulating HR policies and processes.
Currently Executive Director with group human resources in DBS Bank, James is the Head of Talent Acquisition for DBS Group. He manages a team of Talent Acquisition Specialists responsible for fulfilling DBS’ hiring needs across the key markets that DBS operates in.
James holds a Bachelor in Business Administration from the National University of Singapore and a Master of Business (IT) from Curtin University of Technology.
Ang Gey Wee is currently the Head of HR for ECCO’s Global Shoe Production & Sourcing division, headquartered in Singapore, with a 15,000-strong workforce in seven countries. He started his career as an entrepreneur before taking on a role as the Senior Consultant (cum Head of Content Development) in an eLearning consultancy film. During this period, Gey Wee was very much involved in eLearning content development, training, and project management. After which, Gey Wee took on a Training Manager role in a niche training centre with close to 200 instructors. Subsequently, Gey Wee took on new challenges as an HR professional in a few GLC and MNC organizations before his current role in ECCO. Gey Wee comes with diverse experience in managing major accounts, contractors/suppliers, people management, and global/regional HRIS implementation project, in both his past and current positions.
Ilja Rijnen joined Edrington in September 2015 as HR director for the region as part of the Asia Pacific and India leadership team.
He functionally heads up HR in the region and works closely with the senior leadership teams and the HR team in the region in building a strong people culture with an enhanced capability.
Edrington’s people development programmes are a significant priority for the region and he is spearheading the design and delivery from the HQ in Singapore, while working with the global HR team to implement its 2020 HR strategy globally.
Before joining Edrington, he gained significant HR experience through Diageo in Southeast Asia where he was the business partner and head of HR for various teams in the region. He also brings a wealth of organisation design experience which is being applied in building up the training and development activity in the region and launching The Edrington Academy and Sales Academy.
Meghna Shukla is GM Talent and OD Asia Middle East Africa for Fonterra. Fonterra is New Zealand’s largest listed multinational dairy co-operative responsible for 30% of the world’s dairy exports with revenues of NZD 20 Billion providing dairy nutrition to more than 100 countries through 20, 000 employees worldwide.
During Meghna’s 17 years in HR, she has worked in senior business partner and expert roles across various industries including Consumer, Agri/Food, Pharmaceutical, Chemical, IT, Banking and Construction, primarily in MNC’s across Asia, Middle East Africa and ANZ. Meghna has a wide-ranging global and regional experience in people strategy with demonstrated commercial acumen and success in building the organizational capability, capacity and engagement generating growth.
She has driven through teams the Global HR and business transformation agenda enabling near and long-term business growth ambitions across markets. She has experience in business expansion and start-ups, shared services and outsourcing, high growth business interventions and transformations, restructuring and change management.

Cynthia leads Talent & Organization Performance for HP in Asia Pacific & Japan.
In her 15 years as a talent and organization development leader based in Singapore, she has spent most of her career in US MNCs, managing learning & development, leadership development and talent management across Asia Pacific & Japan. In her current role, she partners and consults directly with HR and senior business leaders to drive talent & learning strategy. At the same time, as part of the global Talent & Learning center of excellence, Cynthia influences strategy, processes, and programs that result in upstream sharing of best practices and inclusive planning.
Eddy joined Ingersoll Rand in 2012 and is currently the Asia Pacific HR Director for its Club Car business, as well as the South Asia HR Director for the Industrial SBUs. He takes on the role of HR business partner to the commercial leadership teams. He provides HR advice on all HR matters including workforce planning, talent review, C&B strategy, performance management, facilitating culture and organizational changes etc. He is also responsible for the delivery and implementation of all global HR initiatives and programs in his region.
Eddy has around 20 years of HR experience. He has worked in different industries, including shipbuilding, IT, education, chemicals and industrial machinery. He has experience in full spectrum of HR, ranging from compensation & benefits, talent & leadership development, performance management, organizational development and talent acquisition. He has also worked in a statutory board implementing workforce productivity programs for many manufacturing companies.

Corinna Cheang is currently Head of People for Jetstar Asia where she oversees the strategic human resources functions including promoting diversity in the workforce, strategic sourcing, leading and championing change, talent management, people development, staff engagement, performance management, reward and staff recognition.
Prior to Jetstar, Corinna was Human Resource Director with DFS, a major luxury travel retailer which is part of the Louis Vuitton Moët Hennessy (LVMH) Group. In her role at DFS, she has assisted to expand the global services function in Singapore and was a change champion in multiple business projects. Corinna has also worked with SingTel and Oracle Corporation and has 20 years of human resource experience.
Corinna has a Master’s degree in Organizational Psychology from University of Warwick and Bachelor of Business from Nanyang Technological University.
Oliver Grohmann is Corporate Vice President, Global Human Resources for LG Electronics.

From 2012 until 2015 Oliver held the position of Senior Vice President of HR at Mercedes-Benz Sales & Marketing Overseas in Singapore, covering 23 countries on 4 continents.
Annabel Stewart is HR Director, APAC for Mitel – experts in business communication, powering over 2 billion connections every day. Annabel has operated at a senior level across global organisations undergoing rapid transformation, and understands the challenges and opportunities that present themselves during this time. The programs Annabel has worked on include retention strategies, leadership programs, recruitment drives, organisational restructures, employee engagement and pre and post-acquisition alignment.

Dr Koh is Director of Engagement & Relations, Office of Human Resources at Nanyang Technological University. Young and research-intensive, NTU is ranked 13th globally and has a total faculty and staff population of more than 7,300.
Talent Management and HR Faculty Affairs are prior HR portfolios which Dr Koh has held in the University. He is passionate about enhancing organisational performance culture, building up organisational capabilities and partnerships, strengthening organisational learning and helping employees find meaning at work.
Dr Koh brings almost two decades of experience, spanning from human resources and business management consultancy, to entrepreneurship development and education, and technology commercialisation. Josephine Chua is the Director of Human Resources & Quality for the Ramada and Days Hotels Singapore At Zhongshan Park, which employs a total workforce of 250. Both hotels are part of the Zhongshan Park Integrated Development and Independently owned by HH Properties Pte. Ltd. and operated under a management agreement with Wyndham Hotel Group Asia Pacific Co. Ltd.
Josephine has developed and implemented several initiatives to attract, engage and retain talents in the hotels. Under her leadership, various members of the hotels’ management were selected as finalists in the 2015 and 2016 HRM Awards, 2016 TAFEP Exemplary Employer of the Year Award, 2015 Singapore Experience Award and much more. And Josephine herself attained one of the top honoured awards in 2016, which is the HRM Award for Best Talent Management Practices.
An industry veteran, Josephine was previously a Senior Manager in the Human Resources and Talent Development department for Singapore’s largest integrated resort. His experiences covered total rewards framework, salary structures, cash incentives, equity compensation, benefits, executive compensation, M&A, etc. Prior to joining Singtel, he was with the Public Service Division, where he formulated compensation-related strategies and policies across the Civil Service Kian Khar holds a Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering (First Class Honours) from Imperial College, London and an MSc in Industrial Engineering and Operations Research from University of California, Berkeley.
