| Role Description: | This role is a highly visible, high impact position where you will have the opportunity to affect significant positive change and drive the business to increased effectiveness. Reporting to the Group Head of HR, this role is responsible for developing successful talent, compensation, and organisational development and effectiveness strategies for this progressive and fast-growing financial services client. You will contribute to the performance of the business by providing strategic consulting on people strategies, organisational effectiveness and other human capital or business initiatives. You will provide thought leadership and consulting support to management on matters of goals setting, policy development, and strategic implementation in support of achieving corporate objectives and business growth, as well as on the human capital strategies necessary for them to achieve their goals and objectives. As a strategic business partner, you will also engage and influence the key business leaders to form the department’s human capital strategy and plan along with the organisational requirements to execute that strategy. Conduct in-depth analysis of current and future needs of the organisation and develop strategies and plans to meet those needs. Additionally, you will drive the talent management agenda including key talent identification, planning, development, and recruitment. Identify work environment strategies to increase productivity, employee performance, and employee satisfaction and design metrics to track effectiveness of these initiatives. Implement short and long-range strategic plans to continually improve organisational effectiveness. You will participate as a leader and member of project teams focusing on both HR and enterprise-wide organisational issues. | |
| Requirements: | You are a highly qualified HR profession with a Bachelor’s degree required, advanced degree preferred. A minimum of 8 years related experience as a human resources generalist coupled with knowledge of organisational development and effectiveness techniques and performance management. Previous experience in the Private Banking or Wealth Management sector is essential. Proven success with building relationships and ability to understand the business needs is critical. Demonstrated ability to provide practical, solution-driven initiatives and human resource processes that quickly add value to the business. Strong business acumen, project management skills, successful teaming with colleagues, and a strong results orientation. Interpersonally you must be a highly effective, results-oriented and resourceful leader who is capable of quickly taking control of your responsibilities and establishing yourself as a credible strategic business partner is of utmost importance. | |
