Company Description:This major international bank has a 200 year history and operations spanning the globe. Any opportunity has arisen for a candidate to lead the HR shared services team for Singapore. The HR shared services including HR systems, admin and payroll across Asia Pacific and Japan. In partnership with HR, the shared services area is undergoing significant change to existing operations including an aggressive regional expansion.
Role Description:

The Service Centre Manager’s primary role is to oversee the day-to-day operations of the Service Centre, HR Admin, Benefits Management, Expatriate Management, Metrics Reporting and Customer Service and ensure that the processes are performed in accordance to set procedure and in compliance of the corporate governance. Service Centre Manager will also be involved in project work to support management and site objectives. This role will report to the Asia Operations Head based in Singapore.

Key Responsibilities:
•Responsible/In-charge-of the Service Centre and ensure that all the services are delivered in accordance to the Service Level Memorandum and in compliance to set instructions and quality standards
• Develop/Implement, communicate and influence stakeholders of the Service Level Memorandum (SLM)
• Ensure that all services provided meet and exceed the SLM guideline
• Manage Senior/Stakeholder expectations
• Ensure daily operations of HR Admin, Benefits Management, Customer Service, Expatriate Management, Metrics Reporting, HR related systems, Metrics and other monthly reporting
• Guide and provide leadership to the Service Centre
• Escalate with proposed solutions of any challenges within the Service Centre
• Research and analyse business requirements to develop logical solution and establishing best-practice procedures
• Demonstrate exemplary commitment to customer service, consistently meeting agreed timeframes and adjusting to changing priorities by displaying willingness, cooperation and concern for business issues
• Participate in the weekly ops meeting
• Participate in ad-hoc projects as required by the Asia Operations Head
• Form an active part of the Service Centre, contributing to a positive team leadership

Requirements:• Experience of working in a HR operational environment/ service centre is desirable • Working knowledge of HR systems (including PeopleSoft v8.3) highly desirable • Ideally educated to degree level • At least 5 years related work experience in similar field • Excellent English written & verbal communication skills • Excellent leadership skills • Excellent Stakeholder Management • Excellent interpersonal skills • Proficient in the use of workstation applications • Able to handle high volume of work & adapt to change • Able to plan and manage own time • Able to rapidly learn technical and business techniques and knowledge
