Company Description:This major player in the financial services space seeks the skills of an experienced HRMS business analyst. This role sits within the large HR shared services structure and supports all business units within the bank.
Role Description:

The HRMS Business Analyst primary role involves providing online functional solutions for countries, as well as implementation of regional and global initiatives affecting the regional system. One major project that this role will be actively involved, is the Global Payroll project where we are standardising the payroll platform for the whole of APAC.

Key Responsibilities:
• Partnering with the Global Payroll Project team to support the rollout of Global Payroll project that spans over 3 years.
• Partnering with our HR counterparts, and regional and global work streams to support business process analysis and change.
• Perform tier-2 support on user queries logged via the System Support Centre, and communicate finding/resolution appropriately within established service level.
• Perform due diligence with thorough investigation prior to reverting to users on findings or escalating to technical team for tier-3 support.
• Active participation in Regional/Global Change Control Board to discuss changes.
• Periodically review the outstanding logged tickets and follow through accordingly to facilitate closure.
• Work directly with countries to understand their business needs and translate those business needs into a set of systematic specifications for development.
• Assist user to prepare Change requests and Functional Specifications.
• Learn the capabilities and limitations of the software, so as to utilize the features to meet countries’ needs.
• Research, document, configure and test all functional elements involving rules and policies.
• Prepare and/or review change request, development document, test scripts and perform system testing, where required.
• Collaborate with the Technical Specialists to ensure the functional specifications identified have been met through development.
• Develop an understanding of the application architecture, database schema, development tools and native language.

Requirements:• Minimum 3 years experience with PeopleSoft HRMS application • Minimum 2 years project related experience as a business analyst or systems analyst with exposure to all phases of software development including: Requirement Gathering, Analysis and Design, Testing, and Implementation. • Strong knowledge of HR business processes is preferred • Demonstrated multi tasking ability, analytical skills, problem solving skills and a consistent record of on time delivery and customer service is mandatory • Possess an inquisitive mind coupled with a strong business thought process which may result in business process re-engineering to achieve process efficiency and effectiveness • Effective time management, documentation and organizational skills • Must be creative, hard working, and must support the concept of “fun” in the workplace • Must be a self-starter and a team player • Highly organized and methodical • MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Power Point) and MS Project • Must possess superior communication skills (both verbal and written) inclusive of strong presentation skills
