Japan - A air force major was suspended from duties after he walked into a store without any clothes on.

In a Reuters report, the air force major had just left a farewell party in early September when he stripped off his clothes before entering a convenience store to buy women's panties and pantyhose.

A spokesperson from Matsushima air base in Northern Japan said he only had his shoes and wallet on him. "He thought it would be funny if he went into the store stark naked, that it would surprise people."

The store clerk called the police shortly after; for his public display, the air force major received a 10-day suspension.
