While some people gain skills and experience in the office, others are simply adding more inches to their waistline. Survey results show that being mostly sedentary will make cause most employees to gain weight. 

26% said they have gained more than 10 pounds (4.53kg) while 12% have gained more than 20 pounds (9.07kg) while in their current job.

50% of women are likely to gain weight while 42% of men are likely to put on weight.

45%have gained weight at their
current job, with 66% admitted to snacking at least once a day.

38% of employees eat out for lunch twice or more per week, making it difficult to control meal portions and calorie intake.
