Title Professional Voice Coach, Speaker and Trainer
Company d’Oz International
In a nutshell The difference between a great leader and mediocre one is the ability to inspire the audience. By learning how to act and dramatise, says trainer Veronica Allardice, leaders will learn how to control their voice and speak in a way that excites and inspires the audience.
Previously from a learning and development executive, Alladrice majored in voice, drama and performance at the Central School of Speech and Drama. She also has a Masters in Management and Public policy.
She trains in the areas of leadership, leadership communication, voice skills, personal impact and presentation, team building and coaching skills and has coached companies such as the Monetary Authority of Singapore, Deloitte Australia for the past 25 years.
In addition to being a corporate trainer, Allardice has also directed and acted in plays, as is in the midst of writing a book on voice for business leaders.
Rehashed or new? Allardice comes from both sides of the coin, having taught both business executives as well as theatre practitioners. She also uses performance texts and techniques as means of exploring leadership issues and developing a more charismatic inspirational brand of leader-communicator.
