Singapore - To honour their employees for their performance in their jobs, Grand Copthorne Waterfront Hotel presented its inaugural “Night at the Oscars” last week.
Twelve awards were given out which included Best Service Staff, Best Team and Employee of the Year, to recognise all team members for their commitment towards their jobs and professionalism in maintaining both their image and conduct. Through the event, the hotel also wanted to encourage and motivate its employees to continue excelling in the coming years.
The Long Service Award was also presented to 35 recipients, who have been with the hotel since it opened nine years ago, for their loyalty towards the hotel and company.
John Sartain, general manager said, “At the Grand Copthorne Waterfront Hotel, we value our people for their commitment, dedication and contributions to the hotel. In any service-oriented organisation, people are the most important assets. It is only through their efforts that we are able to deliver an exceptional service experience to our hotel guests.”
Grand Copthorne Waterfront Hotel will celebrate its10th anniversary in 2009.
