Hi! Read me

What is it?

If you're going to make employees wear name tags at a mass corporate event, training session or product launch, you might as well get them to don on something stylish, like a badge with scrolling LED message bearing the employee's name and division. The message is completely programmable to read what you want. Up to six different messages can be loaded into the badge at one time. Each message can be set for scroll speed and brightness.

The stylish LED badge is smaller than a credit card and weighs 30 grams. The text comes in blue, red or green and has a battery life of 18 hours.

How does it work?

The buttons on the back of the gadget allows the user to programme or change the message, adjust its speed or brightness. The badge attaches to the user's shirt using a small magnetic connection on its back.

Drawbacks

With battery life of less than a day, its usage is rather limited. It's not likely to be able to replace the identification tags that some employees wear daily for instance. Besides the LED badge doesn't come cheap.
