What is it?
Have an emotional message to communicate or a sarcastic email to send to a co-worker who just wouldn't get off your back? While email is a cheap and quick communication tool, the intended meaning is sometimes lost or buried in the words. Thus, incidences of misreading an innocent comment as an insult or missing sarcasm - which may be good where the dig was directed at you - are higher. The USB Desktop E-mail Microphone, which allows the sender to deliver voice e-mail message will solve those communication hitches.
How does it work?
Record your message, or song, press the send button, and the recording is attached to the e-mail ready to be sent. You don't even need a sound card for your PC; speak into the microphone and your message is recorded directly to the device, and sent straight to your PC via the USB port. Works on Windows 98/ME/2000/XP and requires USB 1.1 or 2.0 port.
Drawbacks
You've got to be sure to say what you mean and mean want what you say. If your mushy spill to a loved one is accidentally forwarded to your co-workers or worse your boss, it could be 10 times more embarrassing than via a text email. Talk about sound bites!
