LEADING SEMICONDUCTOR COMPANY TO SHARE ON NON-CASH REWARDS

Singapore – Lighthouse Independent Media, publisher of Human Resources, is pleased to announce Renee van der Burg, vice president of human resource management operations, NXP Semiconductors, as the next speaker for its premium regional conference, Employee Benefits Live Asia 2012. Burg will present a case study entitled Cultivating Excellent Employee Engagement Through Non-Cash Rewards.

“All else being equal, people stay with a company because of excellent leaders and a culture they feel good about – not because of the money,” said Burg. “When NXP started its journey on leadership through our values, this was a great opportunity to transform the way we lead our 24,000 employees into a balanced combination of getting the results we need for our business and the personal care and attention we need to get the best of our employees.”

Burg is a globally experienced human resource professional in the high tech and semiconductor field, with over 25 years experience at Royal Philips Electronics and NXP Semiconductors. At the birth of NXP Semiconductors in 2006, she designed the new company’s recruitment organisation and co-designed the NXP employer brand.

Burg is currently responsible for human resource management in NXP Operations, with an employee base of over 17,000 people, covering internal and external manufacturing, quality, procurement, supply chain management, IT and real estate and facilities management for all of NXP.
