Position: Business Development Manager, Solutions Project (Industrial Engineering/Logistics)

Role Description:  
   

* Responsibility to provide the analysis and preparation of solution design work in support of Contract Logistics sales process within Singapore market.

* Ensure that authorization is received prior to submission of opportunities to customers.

* Ensure that all commercial proposals meet the agreed commercial guidelines.

* Ensure that all internal compliances for all company related policies and requirements pertaining to the business unit logistics initiatives.

* Responsible to write a solution document and provide the necessary support in the presentation to the clients.

* Analyze cost models and work closely with internal departments and to develop logistics proposal in a timely manner.

* Gather and analyze logistics data and conduct warehouse and new facility surveys.

* Develop and review improved methodologies for analyzing client data.

* Keep abreast of emerging technology changes and innovations through formal or informal study, reading business and professional publications, networking, and participation in professional organizations.

* Collate the necessary information for regular reporting requirements to management.

Our Client is a reputable Global MNC with offices worldwide. Currently, they are looking for a dynamic, result oriented & experienced individual to join them.

 

Requirements:          

* Degree in Logistics/Transportation, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering or equivalent study.

* More than 5 years' of experience in Solution Design in Third Party Logistics (3PL) or Distribution Services industry, with management experience is preferred.

* Understanding of Logistics and Supply Chain management design principles, and demonstrates the ability to utilize this understanding in the sales process.

* Experience of Warehouse design, Transportation & Routing Optimization, Supply Chain Network Study, Inventory Optimization & Management, MS Project and Industrial Engineering techniques.

* Process oriented, business acumen, customer oriented with good people skills.

* Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.

* Ability to effectively present information and respond.

* Prepared to be hands on, service oriented, dynamic with good planning and management skills.

* Demonstrated skills in organization group process, problem identification and resolution.

* Ablity to effectively present information and respond to questions from management, employees and vendors.

* Good ability to perform under pressure and in a fast paced environment.

* Applicants who can commence work either on an immediate basis or within short notice will have an added advantage!

* Applicants should be Singaporean citizens or hold relevant residence status.
