Singapore - QuEST Global Engineering plans to hire 60 employees for its newly setup international headquarters in Singapore.
Global provider of diversified engineering services QuEST Global Engineering said today in a press release that it would consolidate its global business operations and set up its international headquarters in Singapore. With the new offices beginning operations on 1 April next month, it plans to hire a 60-member team. It would also be investing around US$50 million in Singapore over the next five years.
CEO and co-founder, Ajit Prabhu said part of the company's business plans include setting up key engineering centres of excellence in Singapore and expatriating senior leaders to the city gradually. "We also intend to move senior management team to Singapore. This is as a significant step in our vision to become a USD$500 million organisation by 2015".
He cited Singapore's "strong talent pool, excellent market connectivity, coupled with its vibrant oil & gas and aerospace sectors" as key reasons to why the company decided to relocate its headquarters here.
