Singapore - IT professionals in Singapore and Hong Kong earn the big bucks compared to their other Asian counterparts, according to a survey by ZDNet Asia.

An IT professional in Singapore earns an average annual salary of S$64,943 (US$41,601) while an Hong Kong IT professional is paid HK$404,144 (US$51,964). Among the seven Asian countries that took part in the survey - Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore and Thailand; Philippines IT workers receive the lowest salary.
