BIZARRE HR

Spain - Employees at a bar in Spain are now being paid to take verbal abuse from their customers, who will in turn receive free drinks for their hilarious or original insults.

"When you come in after work, you can say swear at them and call them 'bastard' or 'imbecile'," says a customer Antonio Ossa, who said the promotion by the Casa Pocho bar in southern Cullera seemed like a good idea.

Bar owner Bernard Mariusz felt that people needed somewhere to release their frustrations at a time of economic crisis, and hence tapped on the Spanish language's rich store of obscenities. "That way they won't let it out on their family," he says in a report by Reuters.
