With the Singapore government investing $230 million as part of the Singapore Media Fusion fund to propel the industry forward, Anna Mallon, general manager of SAE Institute Singapore says the creative media industry, with its recession-resistant qualities, has been identified as an important growth engine to fuel Singapore's economy.
According to a report by Singapore Media Fusion, this industry in Asia Pacific is predicted to have one of the fastest growth globally, allowing world-class media companies to establish themselves in Singapore. Consequently, more local jobs will be created to support the growth of the industry.
