Mercer Marsh Benefits integrates BerryQ with its Asia benefits app

The Mercer Benefits Asia app by Mercer Marsh Benefits (MMB), an extension of the company's benefits administration, can now integrate BerryQ, equipping clients with the ability to test how they can promote a healthy workforce.

BerryQ is an app designed by LumenLab, MetLife's Innovation Centre based in Singapore, and the interface offers prizes for taking a health challenge to complete short and informative health quizzes. The challenge is specially curated around the topic of nutrition, ranging from distinguishing good and bad carbs to hydration basics and superfoods. It also incorporates topics such as workplace wellness, fitness, diseases, aging and coping with stress.

Sophia Van Principal, chief technology officer at Mercer Marsh Benefits, said: “We are pleased to collaborate with LumenLab to offer this time-saving and eco-friendly development for both members and their employees in Asia."

The Mercer Benefits Asia app allows employees to go paperless and easily track their flex spending accounts. Additionally employers will be able to effectively disseminate mass notifications, such as emergency alerts, which employees can receive instantly on their mobile devices.

Mercer has also developed an internal chatbot, Jenneke, to assist its client serving teams in helping users with benefits administration queries. The organisation will continue to use its technology to partner with other providers to promote a healthy workforce.
