HR Practitioner Appointments

Nate Ong takes on new role at Mondelēz in Singapore
Previously based in Malaysia, Nate Ong has taken up a new role at Mondelēz International as regional HR manager, ISC Corporate Functions for AMEA in Singapore. He has worked with Mondelēz since 2015, most recently as regional organisation pillar lead, Asia Pacific. Ong’s prior experience include positions such as head of HR, supply chain and corporate functions at British American Tobacco, as well as training and development manager for APAC at Kerry Group.

Lazada e-Logistics welcomes Damodharan David
Damodharan David has recently joined Lazada e-Logistics as head of talent acquisition and performance management, based in Malaysia. He is a recruiter with broad experience in internal and external recruiting, market research and candidate interviews. David previously held the role of head of recruitment (staff augmentation manager) at ICT solutions provider Mesiniaga Berhad, and HR recruitment manager at MyDeal Malaysia.

Shazmi Ali appointed to HR lead role in Singapore at Pfizer
Previously serving Pfizer in Malaysia as director of human resources, Shazmi Ali has recently taken on a new role in the company as cluster lead for Singapore, Thailand, Philippines, Malaysia and Brunei. Before joining Pfizer, he held a number of positions such as regional HR leader for Asia at CAE, and human resource client consultant at ExxonMobil. With this move, Ali will be based in Singapore.

Ashvine Hari Krishnan joins Neovate Developments
Neovate Developments has recently brought on Ashvine Hari Krishnan as senior human resources manager. Based in Malaysia, Krishnan is an HR professional with a strong passion for talent engagement, change management, internal culture and people development. She brings experience from roles such as senior executive talent management and development with Philip Morris International, and senior HR executive, organisational development with Dutch Lady Milk Industries.


HR Solutions Provider Appointments

Bhavana Chauhan moves to new role as client manager, principal at Mercer

Having joined Mercer in 2014, Bhavana Chauhan has taken up newly created role, serving as a regional client manager for Mercer’s premier clients. A principal with Mercer, Bhavana’s experience spans transformation, organisation design, workforce analytics and planning, M&A and health and benefits across the growth markets.

As Mercer aims to further strengthen its position as an HR consulting service provider in this region, the client manager role has been created to serve as a single point of contact into the organisation. In her role, Bhavana will be focused on ensuring client satisfaction and excellence in service delivery for select premier and globally managed clients.
