HR Practitioner Appointments

Dr Sujaya Banerjee gives up role as CTO of Indian oil and energy conglomerateHaving led HR transformation for Essar Group across 25 geographies in a tenure spanning 10 years, Dr Sujaya Banerjee has resigned as chief talent officer and senior VP HR, Essar Group. In a LinkedIn post, she has said: "I am at the same time very excited about the new journey undertaken, which I plan to announce to all of you soon." She continues to be based in Mumbai.

Delton Li Law takes up new role at Bank of China (Hong Kong)Previously senior human resources manager (head of talent acquisition - personal and commercial banking), where he championed end-to-end talent marketing and talent acquisition activities for close to 60% headcount, Delton Li has been promoted to senior talent management manager, in Hong Kong.

Jessica Maley exits GroupM in Australia to relocate to SingaporePreviously talent acquisition director at GroupM in Australia, Jessica Maley has been brought in to head Asia Pacific talent acquisition for GroupM, based in Singapore. She has been with GroupM since October 2013, prior to which she was digital and media recruitment consultant at nuclei recruitment.

Sara Lau to work in people team at Cathay Pacific AirwaysInternational airline Cathay Pacific Airways has appointed Sara Lau people manager. She moves from The Aberdeen Marina Club - managed by Shangri-La Hotels & Resorts, where she was human resources manager. She continues to be based in Hong Kong.

 

HR Solutions Provider Appointments

Reeti Sachdeva announces move to Parthenon-EY as strategic communications managerParthenon joined Ernst & Young LLP on August 29, 2014, and Parthenon-EY is a strategy consultancy headquartered in Boston. It sees the appointment of Reeti Sachdeva, formerly marketing manager at Korn/Ferry International, as strategic communication manager based in Mumbai.

Rebecca Harper takes up internal recruitment responsibility at Resource SolutionsMoving from London to Hong Kong, Rebecca Harper has been promoted at RPO and MSP solutions vendor, Resource Solutions to the role of internal recruitment manager, Asia Pacific. She is responsible for the internal recruitment team across 14 countries in APAC.

Speaking to Human Resources, Harper said: "We believe this will be the fastest growing region for Resource Solutions globally over the next year (and looking to the future, five years) as the RPO market develops." She will be based in Hong Kong with her team across Singapore and the Philippines.

Adrian Tan appointed as operations director at Ingeus SingaporeContinuing as the co-founder and advisor at The Resource Group in Singapore, Adrian Tan has also taken up the role of operations director at Ingeus Singapore, a company which is delivering an employability programme for unemployed jobseekers from a PMET background.

Willis Towers Watson elevates the role of Abhishek MittalThe global advisory, broking and solutions company has appointed senior consultant Abhishek Mittal to the role of director of talent consulting. In this role, he leads teams focusing on talent management and organisation alignment, employee engagement, assessment solutions, change management and talent management technology. Based in Singapore, his remit extends to South East Asia.

Korn Ferry adds a newly formed COO role for Asia PacificAs the firm experiences growth in Asia Pacific, Korn Ferry has created a chief operating officer position to provide additional support to the region. CMO and president of the Korn Ferry Institute Mike Distefano will assume this newly created role. Distefano will relocate to Shanghai from Los Angeles and work closely with Charles Tseng, president of Asia Pacific, to grow business in this region.
