HR practitioner appointments

Traveloka welcomes Delvy Gusmiranto as HR operations & services global leadAs of March 2017, Delvy Gusmiranto is the HR operations & services global lead at Traveloka. He has over 10 years of experience in the human resources field, with a focus on recruitment. Previous employers include Petrosea, 3M, and AirAsia. He is based in Malaysia.

Asia AeroTechnic promotes Haniff Othman as human resources controllerHaniff Othman has been promoted to human resources controller at Asia AeroTechnic.  He took up his new role in April 2017 and will act as as a strategic business partner by playing an advisory role to the senior leadership team. Othman joined the company in May 2016 as executive industrial relations. He is based in Malaysia.

Tharisini Krishnan moves to Binary.com as talent acquisition executiveTharisini Krishnan has joined Binary.com as talent acquisition executive. She took up her new role in April 2017. Krishnan holds a degree in psychology and started her recruitment career as recruitment consultant at Ingenious Job. She is based in Malaysia.

Noor Fadilah Malaki takes on new assignment at Malaysia Digital Economy CorporationStarting in April 2017, Noor Fadilah Malaki is executive, human capital, recruitment, at Malaysia Digital Economy Corporation. She has been with the company since 2014 when she joined as executive, human capital, training. Malaki has eight years of experience in the HR field. She is based in Malaysia.

Sacoor Brothers add Annis Afni to their recruitment teamAnnis Afni has joined Sacoor Brothers as a recruiter. She took up her new role starting in March 2017. Afni has several years of experience in the recruitment field and most recently worked at Adecco as personnel consultant. She continues to be based in Malaysia.

Janet Man joins Schneider Electric as vice president, talent managementStarting May 2017, Janet Man is Schneider Electric's new vice president, talent management. In her new role, Man will be responsible for building leadership pipeline and managing related programmes. She reports directly to Tina Mylon, SVP for talent and diversity.

For the upcoming year, her focus will be on identifying a pool of top potentials whose development will be accelerated to take up VP and above positions at global level.

Man brings with her 20 years of experience in the HR industry, as well as an MBA and a degree in learning and organisational change. Most recently, she was senior director of talent management at McDonald's, where she joined in 2009. She continues to be based in Hong Kong.

Sonali Satpathy expands her role at Schneider ElectricAs of May 2017, Sonali Satpathy is VP diversity & inclusion at Scheider Electric. She will fulfill her new role in the company on top of her current position as talent management director.

Satpathy joined Schneider Electric in 2010 as global hr internal communication director and has worked her way up the ranks. She holds a degree in economics and as well as an MBA. She is based in Hong Kong

Charissa Chan is assigned as director, corporate HR at Shangri-La Hotels and ResortsCharissa Chan has been assigned the role of director, corporate human resources at Shangri-La Hotels and Resorts. She takes up her new position in May 2017. Chan joined the company in July 2014 as area director of HR and training for the Hotel Jen brand portfolio.

In her new role, her main responsibility is to be the human resources business partner to corporate functions. She will continue to be based in Hong Kong.

I.T promotes Yan Yu to human resources supervisorYan Yu has been promoted to human resources supervisor at I.T. He took up his new role in april 2017. Yu joined the company in 2011 as human resources assistant and has worked his been steadily working his way up the ranks ever since. He is based in Hong Kong.

Gabriel Ho climbs the ranks at Esquel GroupGabriel Ho has been promoted to senior manager, group human resources at Esquel Group, starting in May 2017. Ho has been with the company since 2014, when she joined as senior manager, group training & talent management. She has over 17 years of experience int he HR field, with a focus on training. She is based in Hong Kong.

Macy Wai joins Sotheby's as assistant human resources managerStarting in May 2017, Macy Wai is assistant human resources manager at Sotheby's. She has 10 years of experience in the HR industry in both Canada and Hong Kong, with previous employers including Apple, Philips, and VISTRA. Most recently, she worked as senior human resources officer at Gibson Innovations. She is based in Hong Kong.

HR solutions provider appointments

Ian Lee starts as general manager at CulturisticAs of April 2017, Ian Lee is the general manager at Culturistic, a PKT Group subsidiary. He has more than seven years of experience in the L&D field and is passionate about people and the realisation of their true potential, which he believes is often unlimited.

At Culturistic Lee's work will include identifying and harnessing talent and leaders within various organisations to reach their full potential, through deeply engaging, holistic and business-proven methods. He is based in Malaysia.

Kuvendran Vyanan Hari Vyanan joins Adecco as team lead, engineeringKuvendran Vyanan Hari Vyanan joined Adecco in April 2017. In his new role, he acts as 360 consultant and manages a team of engineers. Prior to joining Adecco, Vyanan was consulting manager as VHR Consultancy. He continues to be based in Malaysia.

Charlotte Frank welcomes Fleur Daniell as director, Asia PacificCharlotte Frank welcomes Fleur Daniell as Director, Asia Pacific, starting in April 2017. In her new role, Fleur will report to Helen Corke, APAC Managing Director, and will be responsible for the expansion of the business in Singapore and across the region.

With over 10 years of recruitment experience in Hong Kong and London, Fleur has a deep understanding and hands-on experience of the region, having worked extensively across Asia Pacific. Her new role is based in Singapore.

Lumesse promotes Ravi Ganasen to regional manager, RPO & partners APACRavi Ganasen has been promoted to regional manager, RPO & partners APAC at Lumesse. He took up his new role as of April 2017. Ganasen has been with the company since 2015, when he joined as a sales director.

He has over 15 years of software industry experience of which more than 9 years in HR software sales. He is based in Singapore.

Carina Tan takes up a new role at Adept Manpower SolutionsStarting in March 2017, Carina Tan took up her new role as senior recruitment consultant at Adept Manpower Solutions. Prior to joining the company, she worked as a consulting specialist at Transcendent Business Services. She is based in Singapore.

SIRVA promotes Jody Lenderman to director, relocation services Asia & Middle EastStarting in April, Jody Lenderman has taken on his new role as director, relocation services Asia & Middle East at SIRVA. He joined the company in 2015 as director, relocation services, Hong Kong, prior to which he was director, residential division at OKAY.com. He continuous to be based in Hong Kong.

Don Nelson Recruitment welcomes Sakura Leung as recruitment consultantSakura Leung has joined Don Nelson Recruitment as a recruitment consultant starting in April. She will be responsible for IT sector recruitment, from sourcing candidates, communicate with them to interview and follow up the case. Prior to joining the company, Leung worked as a payroll assistant at Faro Recruitment Hong Kong & China. She continues to be based in Hong Kong
