HR Practitioner Appointments

New hires at JP MorganNishilla McKeogh was appointed as VP of corporate and investment bank APAC, head of campus recruiting at J.P. Morgan in May.  Prior to this, she was regional lead of graduate and development, APAC at HSBC.

McKeogh has been in the HR sector throughout her entire career and her former companies include KPMG China and Nomura International (Hong Kong).

Gemma Gastaldo-Brac joined Morgan Stanley as campus recruiter in May.  In the new role, she is responsible for sales & trading, campus recruitment for Hong Kong, Korea and Australia.  Her previous appointment was graduate recruitment at HSBC.

Kee Wah Group appoints head of HRJim Chan was named head of HR & administration at Kee Wah Group in June.  Previously, he was deputy director, HR & administration department at Tai Hing Worldwide Development.   He brings with him more than 15 years of experience in human resources.

Dorsett Hospitality International welcomes director of HRChristine Wong was appointed director of human resources at Dorsett Hospitality International in May.  Previously, she was area human resources manager at Lanson Place Hospitality Management.

She had held a number of HR leadership positions in hospitality sector in the past, including  senior management posts at L'hotel Management, ONYX Hospitality Group and Renaissance Kln Hong Kong, Marriott International.

Cass Cheung moves to OKExAfter leading the HR function of Alipay, Cheung joined OKEx as HR director in May.   She has previously served as the HR lead of Hong Kong at Accenture and as HR transformation lead/operations manager for Asia Pacific at Maersk Hong Kong.

New hire at Samsung ElectronicsAfter four years with Hermes-OTTO International, Karen Cheung made the move to Samsung in June. She was hired as assistant manager, talent acquisition.  Cheung is a human resources generalist with strong focus on talent acquisition and employees relations.  She started her career in human resources in 2010.

Starbucks enhances HR teamEric Kwok was appointed partner resources manager, talent acquisition & engagement at Starbucks in June.  His previous appointment was talent acquisition manager at Richemont.

HongDa Financial strengthens recruitment teamBarry Wu was hired as talent acquisition specialist at HongDa Financial in June.  He started his career in recruitment in 2013, including stints with Hang Seng Bank and aimHigher Consultancy.

Promotion at Société GénéraleRegan Sin was promoted to analyst, people and talent development in June.  He started his career in Société Générale as a recruitment intern in 2017.  He was promoted from trainee, people and talent development.

SATS HK enhances hiring teamTom To was appointed human capital supervisor - talent acquisition at SATS HK in May.  His previous appointment was assistant human resources officer at Sino Hotels. He started his career in human resources in 2015.


HR Solutions Provider Appointments

Promotion at HaysRiley King was promoted to senior manager - digital technology and accounting & finance in June.  He specialises in digital technology recruitment across Hong Kong. King started his career with Hays in Canada in 2012, he relocated to Hong Kong in 2014.

New appointment at Compass OfficesCatherine Sham joined  Compass Offices as senior talent acquisition specialist in May.  In the new role. she will be covering the recruitment activities in Hong Kong, Australia, Japan, Philippines, Singapore and Vietnam.  Previously, she was a recruitment consultant at The CHOYCE Group.

Promotions at AvivaMelody Yue was promoted from people manager to senior manager, people & workplace at Aviva in June.  She had been with the organisation since 2016.

Miranda Cheung was promoted in June to associate, people & workplace.  She joined the company in March 2018 as senior executive, people & workplace management.

JAC Recruitment Group hires recruitment consultantBruce Lam was appointed recruitment consultant at JAC Recruitment Group in June.  He has over 7 years of experience in executive search for the investment banks and professional firm in APAC. His previous appointment was recruitment manager, investment banking division at Conners Consulting.

Promotion at Michael PageJasmine Titmuss was promoted to senior consultant at Michael Page in June.  She joined the company in 2017 as a consultant. She specialises in the delivery of recruitment solutions across the financial and professional services for human resources functions.
