HR Practitioner Appointments

Albert Wong joins Galaxy Entertainment Group After nearly a decade as Cathay Pacific Airways, Wong was appointed ASVP - labour & employee relations at Galaxy Entertainment Group in April.  His previous position was group head- labour and community affairs at Cathay.  He has more than 18 years of experience in human resources.

CEB International Investment Corporation promotes HR director Susanna Chiang was promoted to associate director of human resources and administration of the organisation in April.  She joined CEB in 2015 as VP-human resources and administration. She brings with her more than 18 years of experience in human resources.

Swarovski promotes Denise Lau  Lau the head of human resources at Swarovski for Macao and Hong Kong moved up to head of resources HK Macao & Taiwan in March.  Lau joined the company in 2013 as HR manager.  She has almost 20 years of experience in human resources.

Kerry Hotel welcomes new assistant HR director Ivy Chan was appointed assistant director of human resources at Kerry Hotel, Hong Kong in April.  Previously she was the head of human resources at Cé La Vi Hong Kong.  She brings with her more than 18 years of experience in human resources, with a strong focus on managing human resources in the hospitality sector.

HSBC enhances recruitment team Venus Chung joined the bank as specialist recruiter in April via Allegis Global Solutions.  She will be responsible for retail banking and wealth management (RBWM) recruitment.  Her previous position was consultant at Kelly Services.

New hire at the HR department of Hang Seng Bank Benjamin Lau was appointed assistant manager, talent acquisition and onboarding at Hang Seng Bank in April.  Previously he was global talent acquisition manager at HNA Innovation Finance Group.  Lau started his career in human resources in 2011.

Promotions at the HR department at Richemont Lucinda Monteiro was promoted to human resources recruitment manager - Hong Kong & Macau frontline recruitment in 2018.  Previously she was a human resources assistant manager-retail recruitment based in Macau.

Cecilia Lee was promoted to assistant HR manager - talent sourcing in April.  She started her career with Robert Walters in 2014 as a recruitment consultant before joining Richemont in 2016 as a recruiter for corporate function.

Ten Lifestyle Group strengthens L & D team Annice Chui joined Ten Lifestyle Group as learning and development specialist in April.  Her previous position was senior training officer, Japanese chain restaurant at Hong Kong Maxim's Group.  She started her career in the human resources sector since 2013.


HR Solutions Provider Appointments

New role for Kerry Ling at Prudential Ling was named director, change management, transformation of Prudential Hong Kong in March.   Her previous position was director, HR business partner, organisational development, a role she had held since 2014.  Ling brings with her more than 18 years of experience in human resources.  Prior to Prudential, she was head of learning and development, Asia Pacific, Zurich Insurance Company.

New appointment at IBM Alan Siu was appointed HR solution sales at IBM in April.  Previously he was business development manager with RISQ Group.  He started his career on human resources in 2010.

Lincoln welcomes new lead consultant Elodie Poirier was appointed lead consultant - finance practice at Lincoln in April.  Previously,  she was a recruiting expert in human resources at Hays.  She joined Hays in Luxembourg in 2009 before relocating to Hong Kong 2017

Promotion at Ambition Shirley Lam moved up to principal consultant, sales & marketing in April.  She joined Ambition in 2014 and was promoted to senior consultant, sales & marketing.  Lam started her career in recruitment in 2013.

New hire at Octopus Recruit Pooja Pandey joined Octopus Recruit as recruitment consultant in April.  She holds a master degree in business administration with specialisation in marketing & business from Barkatullah University, Bhopal.
