Asia’s first one-stop flex wellness marketplace, CXA confirms its participation in Employee Benefits Asia, the region’s biggest annual conference dedicated to compensation and benefits strategy. Organised by Human Resources, Employee Benefits Asia 2017 is happening in Hong Kong on 11 May, in Malaysia on 16-17 May, and in Singapore on 18-19 May.
CXA is led by Rosaline Koo, the company’s founder and CEO, who will be presenting a keynote presentation on “driving premium reductions with data – getting the most out of your health and wellness spend”. Koo will provide some answers on how companies can utilise data in their benefits strategy and maximise their budget.
“CXA is bringing evidence-based wellness into the workplace in order to improve employee health and control rising employer healthcare costs. Instead of just offering advice, solutions are delivered to companies by aggregating the data analytics from the insurers, wellness and healthcare providers,” Koo said.
“For example, CXA is pre-negotiating reduced future premiums for companies willing to improve their workforce health, so that they can finally see a direct ROI link between their health management initiatives and insurance costs,” she added.
Koo is the founder and CEO of CXA Group, an employee benefits and healthcare big data start-up. Before starting CXA, she led Mercer Marsh Benefits in 14 countries across Asia Pacific, growing the business by 800% over eight years. She also worked for ACE Insurance, Bankers Trust and Procter & Gamble. Koo has an MBA from Columbia University and attended UCLA. Most recently, she was awarded the Mediacorp Women Entrepreneur Award for her outstanding business achievements and contributions to the community.
CXA, Asia’s first ever one-stop flex wellness marketplace, helps clients implement integrated benefits and wellness programmes that reward employees for becoming healthier. In this process, employees can distribute their employer contribution to insurance coverage and wellness services from CXA’s benefits marketplace according to their needs. CXA manages the administrative functions for HR and presents the ROI data that covers baseline health risks/biometrics, activities, claims, and costs. CXA operates across eight countries in Asia.
Past Employee Benefits Asia attendees are top HR executives from leading and international companies in the region, such as CapitaLand, DHL, General Electric, Heineken, Maersk, The Walt Disney Company, Rolls-Royce and many more. All presenters and panellists, such as Anita Zuo, HR director for rewards, recognition and HRIS at Electrolux, are director or vice president level HR professionals with regional responsibility.
Held in Hong Kong, Kuala Lumpur and Singapore in May 2017, Employee Benefits Asia is the region’s biggest conference on compensation and benefits strategy. The event will unveil best practices and rewards strategies through an agenda dominated by case studies and global thought leaders and attracts a large audience of senior HR generalists and compensation and benefits specialists as well as and CEOs, CFOs and COOs closely involved in their companies’ compensation and benefits strategies.
