樂高因架構複雜裁減1,400名員工

樂高集團將會在全球削減8%人力。由於公司有意建立更精簡的架構,大約1,400名員工面臨於年底前失業。

這項裁員措施於星期二(9月5日)與公司2017年中期業積一併發佈。對比2016年上半年,營業額及純利分別下跌5%及3%。

人力資源部透過電郵發出聲明,樂高集團發言人指裁員將會主要影響全球各階層的受薪職位。她補充:「這次改動經過每個國家當地的法律程序和徵詢計劃,我們現階段無法分享更詳細訊息。」

根據公司的新聞稿,樂高集團在過去5年間一直建立「架構愈來愈複雜的公司以支援全球雙位數增長」。樂高集團主席JørgenVig Knudstorp認為公司目前架構過於複雜,讓公司更難成長。

樂高集團削減1,400名員工後,目標為發展成規模較小、複雜度較低的組織,以簡化業務。

Knudstorp表示:「我們對於裁員影響不少員工的生活深感遺憾。我們知道員工每天熱情投入工作,為此我們十分感激,不幸的是我們必須作出艱難決定。」

樂高集團將會為受影響員工提供遣散方案,包括支援公司內部轉職或與集團而外的公司合作,以反映他們對公司的支持。
